Havasupai Hike – What You Need to Know

    March 5, 2019 /

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” When it comes to the Havasupai hike it’s about both the destination and the journey. Hiking in the Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing, but so is the impossibly blue Havasu Falls.

    July 23, 2018 /

Enjoy Some Guilty Pleasure at Atlantis Resort I have a guilty pleasure – something I like to do, but I really shouldn’t.  Whenever I see a high end watch or jewelry store in an over-the-top luxurious destination, I like to pop inside and see their most expensive watch or diamond necklace and try it on if possible. Phone Photography – Tips to Take Better Smartphone Photos

    July 23, 2018 /

When you Leave your Good Camera Behind Have you ever gone to the airport and left something important behind? As I stood at the counter checking in for a red-eye flight, I realized I was missing something. My son had dropped me off and I had left my camera equipment in the backseat of his car. Since his cell phone was dead, there was no way to contact him. I was visiting three tropical islands on one trip and the only camera I had was the one on my lousy smartphone.  Nobody ever bought that particular model of smartphone for its camera capabilities. To be honest, it was an antique…
