There outdoor pool tables and ping pong tables, 8 pools, a huge water park, kids and teen clubs that are included. There’s also a casino, a shopping area, an arcade, a bowling alley and an escape room that are available at an extra cost. At the time of my visit in mid-December, the casino was not yet open. The gaming machines were at the border waiting for paperwork approvals. The Casino, shops, the theatre, bowling alley and some bars and restaurants are located away from the main part of the resort in an area called the Boulevard. It keeps the noise separated and gives the feeling you are going out on the town to have a separate area.

Review Summary Lopesan Costa Bavaro Punta Cana

I was impressed with the facilities offered at this resort and the design and comfort of the rooms. There was a small amount of seaweed on Bavaro Beach during my visit, but there was also a fair amount of wind that might have been responsible. This resort has something for nearly everyone and I enjoyed my stay. The casino wasn’t open yet, but it looked like it was ready to go when the gaming machines arrive through customs. It’s a new resort, so staff are still learning their roles and many staff members do not speak English well. Sometimes there were issues with communication, but I believe staff training should help. It should be noted that I traveled during a quieter time and I stayed in the Unique Club area. I have since read reviews that there is a shortage of sunbeds at the resort. I did not notice that when I was there, but I was traveling at a quieter time. There are bound to be some issues with a brand new resort, but overall I thought it was lovely and it should only get better with time.
